“Art is a wound turned into light.”

Georges Braque

After nearly two decades of pause, I returned to the visual arts. At first, creating was a way of seeking my inner harmony and balance, but over time it transformed into a quiet dialogue between myself and the simple joy of artistic expression.

I live and work in France, drawing inspiration from the calm of nature and the melancholic beauty of fleeting moments. In my pastel works, delicate layers of soft pastel create subtle transitions, while my charcoal drawings explore the play of contrasts and shadows. The powdery texture of graphite and charcoal allows deep tones and fine details to emerge — soft, yet striking.

My works are characterized by a quiet, contemplative atmosphere built on muted shades and delicate gradations, evoking a dreamlike nostalgia reminiscent of old, faded photographs. Through my art, I seek to create a sense of calm and preserve the melancholic magic of passing time.
